Juventus reportedly failed with a move for Manchester City's Oleksandr Zinchenko in the final stages of the European transfer window.
The 22-year-old was signed from Ufa in July 2016 with a view to eventually challenging for a spot in the final third of the field, but the Ukraine international has developed into a left-back for the English champions.
Zinchenko has not missed a single minute of Premier League football for City this term, playing the full 90 minutes in each of their four fixtures on the left side of the defence.
According to Calciomercato, Juve attempted to land the Ukrainian before the European deadline passed but were told by the Citizens that he would not be available.
Benjamin Mendy's injury problems and Fabian Delph's summer departure have seen Zinchenko become a key member of Pep Guardiola's first XI.
City signed Joao Cancelo from Juve during the summer transfer window in a deal which also saw Brazilian defender Danilo move in the opposite direction.
