Former Manchester United striker Michael Owen has insisted that Sir Alex Ferguson's side have the tools to deal with the threat of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo returns to Old Trafford for the first time on Tuesday as Real Madrid travel to face United in the second leg of their last-16 clash in the Champions League.
"If anyone knows how to look after him it will be Manchester United with him having played there for so long," Owen told the club's official website.
"And let's not forget that Manchester United have a lot of good players that Madrid will have to be aware of."
It is understood that more than 200m people will watch the European tie this evening.
