Marcus Rashford's record vs. Leicester City

Sports Mole looks at Marcus Rashford's goalscoring record against Leicester City ahead of Sunday's Premier League game at the King Power Stadium.

Manchester United make the trip to the East Midlands to face Leicester City on Sunday afternoon looking to continue their recent good form in front of goal.

United have registered a total of 25 strikes from nine matches in all competitions, and they have been not shy in finding the back of the net in their most recent encounters with Leicester.

Romelu Lukaku has had success against the Foxes in the past, but Marcus Rashford is most likely to head the attack this weekend.

Ahead of this weekend's meeting, Sports Mole assesses Rashford's previous outings against Leicester.

The England international's first of six Premier League appearances came towards the end of the 2015-16, but the then-youngster failed to score in his 82 minutes on the pitch.

However, Rashford fared better when being used on the left flank at the start of the next campaign, while the academy graduate featured for the majority of the reverse fixture at the King Power Stadium later that season.

Rashford again got on the scoresheet in the home game against Leicester at the beginning of the following campaign, but only after being introduced as a second-half substitute.

No goals or assists have been registered on his last two outings against Leicester, and the 21-year-old is yet to score a goal at the King Power Stadium.
