Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted that the number of strikers at his disposal gives him a headache.

United currently have Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez, Danny Welbeck, Dimitar Berbatov, Federico Macheda and Bebe on their books, with the club also interested in signing Robin van Persie.

Bebe, who spent some of last season on loan at Besiktas before suffering a ruptured cruciate knee ligament, scored a last minute equaliser in United's 1-1 draw with Ajax Cape Town today, and Ferguson plans to see how the season progresses before deciding how big a part the Portuguese striker will play.

"That was his first game for eight months," said Ferguson.

"His recovery is complete and he started training with us on July 5. He will be pleased to be back playing and pleased he scored a goal.

"We will wait and see how the season progresses for him. It does give me a headache the number of strikers I have got. But it is not the biggest problem."

Bebe signed for Manchester United in 2010 for a reported fee of £7.4m, but has only played seven times for the club in all competitions.
