Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville is 'hopeful' that Marcus Rashford will start Saturday's Manchester derby against Manchester City.
Rashford, 18, has not yet started a Premier League game under Jose Mourinho, but the teenager will enter the match off the back of a hat-trick for England's Under-21s during the recent international break.
The forward also scored Man United's winner against Hull City before the international break and despite Neville 'hoping' that the Englishman is given the nod, the former right-back believes that Mourinho will start Rashford on the bench.
"I hope Rashford does start because he will add to the game and he will be a big threat to Manchester City, but I don't think he will," Neville told Sky Sports News.
"Rashford offers something that would cause City problems, he proved that last season. I hope he starts from the point of view that the game will be better with him in it, he's got that unpredictability and would add something to the game."
Rashford has now scored nine times in 20 first-team appearances for Man United.
