Manchester United are reportedly contemplating whether to make contact with Real Madrid regarding the potential managerial appointment of Carlo Ancelotti.
United are currently in the process of finding a replacement for interim boss Ralf Rangnick, with the likes of Erik ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino being linked with a switch to Old Trafford.
If reports are to be believed, Ten Hag is currently the frontrunner, but according to UOL, Ancelotti may come into the frame over the coming weeks.
With Los Blancos on the way to winning the La Liga title, the report suggests that Ancelotti is happy with life in Spain after making the return to the Santiago Bernabeu last summer.
However, despite the Italian possessing a contract until 2024, United are allegedly giving consideration to trying to appoint the former Chelsea and Everton man.
Ancelotti is currently preparing his Real side to face Chelsea in the Champions League quarter-finals, although he is not guaranteed to be in the dugout as he continues to test positive for coronavirus.
