Manchester United will reportedly face competition if they decide to make a move to bring Mauricio Pochettino to the club ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
The Red Devils are believed to have identified the Paris Saint-Germain head coach as their leading target to become Ralf Rangnick's replacement at the end of the season.
However, according to The Telegraph, an unnamed Champions League club are also keen to appoint the Argentine, with Man United facing a battle to bring in the former Tottenham Hotspur manager this summer.
Rangnick will lead the 20-time English champions for the remainder of the season before taking on a consultancy role at Old Trafford.
There have been claims that Rangnick would prefer Ajax manager Erik ten Hag to become the club's new head coach, but Pochettino still appears to be the number one target for the Red Devils.
Man United face a battle to finish in the top four in the Premier League this season, with Saturday's 2-2 draw against Aston Villa another blow to their hopes.
