Juan Mata, Ander Herrera praise David de Gea

Manchester United's Spanish duo Juan Mata and Ander Herrera praise the form shown by David de Gea between the posts this season.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has been hailed by his teammates Juan Mata and Ander Herrera for his recent performances.

The Spaniard has made a string of important saves this season, including two in the closing stages of last night's 2-1 victory over Stoke City.

When asked by MUTV to assess the form of his compatriot, Mata said: "Like always, big goalkeepers appear when they have to, when the team needs them. That's what David is doing every game.".

Meanwhile, midfielder Herrera added: "I think we have one of the best goalkeepers in the world."

De Gea has kept four clean sheets during his 13 outings this term.
