David Moyes: 'I would manage Manchester United again if offered the job'

David Moyes admits that he would return to Manchester United as manager, despite lasting less than 10 months at Old Trafford when he took over from Sir Alex Ferguson.

David Moyes has revealed that he would return to Manchester United as manager if he were offered the job.

The Scotsman, who was sacked by Real Sociedad in November, lasted less than 10 months in charge at Old Trafford after taking over from Sir Alex Ferguson in the summer of 2013.

United slipped from first to seventh under Moyes, and the Red Devils are having a difficult time at the moment as they have gone eight games without a win under Louis van Gaal as manager.

On The Clare Balding Show on BT Sport, Moyes admitted that he would go back to United as manager, despite his torrid time at the North-West club.

"I had a great group of players they had recently won the Premier League under Sir Alex, but it was going to take time for that to change, evolve and of course there was going to have to be a changeover of players in time, but it couldn't be done in 10 months," said Moyes.

"Would I take the job again? Of course I would. There are very few managers in the world who wouldn't want to manage Manchester United."

Moyes is currently searching for a new club.
