Armenia boss Artur Petrosyan has revealed that he is "very happy" that Henrikh Mkhitaryan has left Manchester United to join Arsenal.
Last week, Mkhitaryan was allowed to move to the Emirates Stadium in what was effectively a straight-swap deal with Alexis Sanchez, who has made the switch to Old Trafford.
Mkhitaryan had struggled for a number of months at United, and Petrosyan has suggested that he is happy to see his team's star man move away from the coaching style of Jose Mourinho.
The 46-year-old is quoted by The Telegraph as saying: "We are very happy with this transfer from Manchester United. His style of play will be better suited at Arsenal.
"It is my impression that I think Henrikh had a problem with the coach (Mourinho), and, at Arsenal, it will be another thing and not the same situation. There will not be so much pressure on him defensively."
Mkhitaryan is expected to make his Arsenal debut against Swansea City on Tuesday night.
