Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Fred are due to return to the club in the next 10 days or so.
The Red Devils continued their preparations for the 2021-22 campaign with a 4-2 defeat to Championship side Queens Park Rangers on Saturday afternoon.
Man United are back in action against Brentford on Wednesday evening, but it is expected to be largely the same squad as the clash with QPR, despite some first-team players being in line to return to training on Monday.
Solskjaer has said that Maguire, Shaw, Rashford and new arrival Sancho are due to return in 10 days following their involvement for England in Euro 2020, while the same can also be said for Fred, who represented Brazil at the Copa America.
"The English players and Fred, the ones who went all the way to the finals in the Copa America and the Euros - they needed a longer break. They'll be back with us in about 10 days' time," Solskjaer told reporters.
Various reports had claimed that Rashford was due to undergo a shoulder operation at the end of this month, but a decision on the attacker's treatment has not yet been made.
