Sports Mole picks out three players that could still join Manchester United during this summer's transfer window.

Manchester United have signed three players during this summer's transfer window, bringing in Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez.

The Red Devils are still active in the market, though, with the club looking to further improve their squad for the 2022-23 campaign.

Cristiano Ronaldo's future at the club remains unclear, while a number of players are expected to leave, either on loan or on a permanent basis, before the window closes for business.

There remains ongoing speculation surrounding possible incomings at the club, and with that in mind, Sports Mole picks out three players that could still move to Old Trafford before the deadline.

Antony (Ajax)

Man United are reportedly still firmly interested in Ajax attacker Antony despite recent claims that the club had cooled their interest due to his high asking price.

The Dutch champions are believed to want at least €70m (£59.9m) for the Brazil international, which could be difficult for the Red Devils, especially as the club continue to chase Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong.

The 22-year-old was in strong form for Ajax during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 12 goals and registering 10 assists in 33 appearances in all competitions.

Man United have found it difficult to fill the right-sided attacking spot in their side in recent years, so it would not be a surprise to see them bring Antony to Old Trafford before the end of the transfer window.

A deal would be complicated due to Antony still being on the sidelines with an ankle injury, though, and it remains to be seen whether the Dutch champions would be prepared to allow another of their star players to move to Man United, with the English giants already signing Martinez from the club this summer.

Frenkie de Jong (Barcelona)

The Frenkie de Jong transfer saga is currently showing no signs of ending, with Man United playing the long game when it comes to a proposed deal for the Netherlands international.

The 20-time English champions have allegedly come to a full agreement with Barcelona over a transfer fee for the former Ajax youngster, with the package said to be worth €85m (£72m).

Man United have reportedly committed to paying €75m (£63.5m) plus add-ons to bring the former Ajax youngster to Old Trafford, but the midfielder is still said to be desperate to remain at Barcelona.

The Dutchman is currently with the Barcelona squad in the United States, and he is said to be hopeful of convincing the Catalan outfit to keep hold of him this summer.

Xavi's side are under pressure to make a big sale in the current market, though, due to their own big moves in the transfer window, and the club are still pushing for the 25-year-old to depart despite his position as a key player.

Denzel Dumfries (Inter Milan)

Man United boss Ten Hag is said to be an admirer of Denzel Dumfries, with the Netherlands international impressing for Inter Milan last season after making the move from PSV Eindhoven.

The 26-year-old was a key player for his Italian club during the 2021-22 campaign, contributing five goals and seven assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.

However, it is understood that the Red Devils will only move for another right-back this summer if Aaron Wan-Bissaka departs, with the 24-year-old said to be surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.

Diogo Dalot finished last season as the club's first-choice right-back, and the suggestions during pre-season have been that the Portugal international will retain that spot next term.

However, Dumfries would provide genuine competition for Dalot if he were to arrive, and it has been claimed that an offer in the region of €30m (£26m) would be considered by Inter, who are keen to reduce their wage bill during the summer market.
