Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson is reportedly set to hold 'crunch talks' with the Reds hierarchy over his future at the end of the season.

The 31-year-old is on the verge of winning a second Premier League winners' medal, as Arne Slot's men hold a 12-point lead at the top of the table with just nine games left to play.

After years of excellent service to Jurgen Klopp, Robertson has remained a critical player for Slot in the 2024-25 campaign, making 39 appearances in all tournaments and starting 24 Premier League games.

However, Robertson has only managed to conjure up one assist in the current season, and the Scotland international has also suffered a noticeable defensive decline after entering the second half of his career.

Ruben Amorim has been told that Brighton & Hove Albion winger Kaoru Mitoma has the quality to play for Manchester United.

The 27-year-old Japan international has established himself as a star player at the Amex Stadium since breaking into the Seagulls side in 2022.

Mitoma has contributed with 21 goals and 15 assists in 100 appearances for Brighton across all competitions, and he is one of four Seagulls players who has scored a team-high eight goals so far this season.

The winger's stunning strike in a 3-0 home victory over Chelsea won February's Premier League Goal of the Month award, the second time he has claimed the monthly prize which has put him just one behind both Bruno Fernandes and Andros Townsend who have won the award a record three times each.

West Ham United are reportedly one of several clubs who have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of Leuven midfielder Ezechiel Banzuzi.

The 20-year-old's performances in two seasons with Dutch outfit NAC Breda earned him a move to Leuven in June 2023 and he has since developed into an important first-team player for the Belgian side.

Banzuzi is a 6ft 3in all-round midfielder who has been deployed either on the left of a midfield three or in a double pivot over the last 18 months with Leuven.

The Netherlands under-21 international has chipped in with three goals and six assists in 30 appearances for a Leuven side who sit 11th in the Belgian Pro League and are battling to secure a Conference League playoff spot for next season.

Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly come forward with a 'super offer' to sign Sporting Lisbon hotshot Viktor Gyokeres in the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old is expected to be one of the most in-demand strikers of the upcoming window thanks to another magnificent 2025-26 campaign, in which he has produced an astounding 40 goals and 10 assists from 41 appearances.

Gyokeres is averaging over one goal per game in the 2024-25 Primeira Liga season, netting 28 times in just 25 matches as Sporting sit three points clear of Benfica at the top of the table.

Even though the Sweden international's contract runs for another three years, Sporting will likely be fighting a losing battle to keep hold of Gyokeres this summer as Europe's powerhouses come calling.

'No-brainer': Man City plotting to sign 'Swedish Messi' on free transfer

Premier League giants Manchester City will reportedly attempt to sign Swedish starlet Roony Bardghji from Copenhagen.

The Citizens are expected to continue their much-needed squad rebuild in the summer, one which began in January with the additions of Omar Marmoush, Nico Gonzalez, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis for a combined fee of around £180m.

Man City's decision not to make significant changes to Pep Guardiola's ageing squad last summer has, is the eyes of many, backfired as the reigning Premier League champions have endured a disappointing campaign by their standards and are now fighting to secure Champions League football for next season.

Recruiting younger players is set to be high on the agenda for incoming sporting director Hugo Viana considering that Guardiola's current squad includes nine players over the age of 30 and three more ages 29.

Joao about that? Chelsea's Felix could be offered PL 'escape route'

Chelsea attacker Joao Felix - currently on loan at AC Milan - could apparently still be offered an escape route out of Stamford Bridge by Aston Villa this summer.

The former Atletico Madrid and Benfica starlet was said to have been on the radar of the Lions in January, but Unai Emery's side lost out to the Rossoneri in their pursuit of the 25-year-old.

Felix is struggling to make a name for himself at San Siro, though, only managing one goal and one assist from his first 10 games in all competitions for Sergio Conceicao's outfit.

The Portugal international has also failed to score in his first seven Serie A appearances for Milan, who do not have an option or obligation to make his stay permanent at the end of the campaign.

Arsenal are on the verge of agreeing a new five-year contract with teenage sensation Ethan Nwaneri, according to a report.

The 18-year-old has stepped up to the plate in the absence of the injured Bukayo Saka in recent weeks and now boasts eight goals and one assist from 29 appearances in all competitions this season.

Nwaneri's stellar form did not earn him a place in Thomas Tuchel's first England squad, but the effervescent attacker is set to earn his first caps for the Under-21s during the March international break.

Nwaneri had already attracted the attention of Arsenal's rivals Chelsea and Manchester City after becoming the youngest-ever Premier League player, coming on at just 15 years and 181 days against Brentford in September 2022.

Kieran McKenna's Phillips 'replacement' found as Ipswich prepare for exits

Ipswich Town have reportedly identified Kalidou Sidibe as a replacement for Kalvin Phillips, who could leave the club in the summer should they be relegated.

Kieran McKenna's side entered the March international break in 18th place in the Premier League with just 17 points after their 4-2 defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest on March 15.

The team are now nine points from 17th-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers and considering the Blues have been beaten in eight of their last 10 matches in the league, it is difficult to see that gap closing.

In the event of relegation, Ipswich may have to face the possibility of losing a number of key players, including midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold signed a pre-contract agreement with Real Madrid in January, according to former Premier League and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson.

There remains a host of speculation surrounding Alexander-Arnold's contract, as his terms with Liverpool are due to expire at the end of June, and talks over a potential fresh deal have stalled in recent months.

Real Madrid continue to be heavily linked with the England international, with the Spanish and European champions believed to have identified him as a priority target at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

Robinson has claimed that Alexander-Arnold's switch to Bernabeu has already been agreed, with the defender penning a pre-contract in January, but both clubs decided that an announcement at that stage would not be beneficial.

Raphinha has admitted that he considered leaving Barcelona during last summer's transfer window, but the Catalan outfit's incoming head coach Hansi Flick convinced him to remain at Camp Nou.

The Brazil international had an underwhelming 2023-24 season for Barcelona, only managing 10 goals and 13 assists in 37 matches in all competitions, and there was speculation surrounding his future last year.

The 28-year-old has revealed that he gave serious consideration to leaving Camp Nou last year, but a conversation with incoming manager Flick played a major role in him deciding to stay with the club.

"I was thinking about leaving Barcelona after the Copa America because I wasn't psychologically comfortable until Flick called me," Raphinha told reporters while on international duty with Brazil.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing to make another move for Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite during this summer's transfer window, having been unsuccessful in their attempts to sign him last year.

Branthwaite is believed to have been the subject of at least two bids from Man United last summer, with their second offer thought to have been in the region of £45m, but Everton held firm with their £70m valuation.

There is again speculation surrounding the 22-year-old's future, as he has been in strong form for the Toffees this term.

Real Madrid are believed to be interested in the defender, who was handed his Everton debut by Los Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti, as the capital giants prepare to sign another centre-back during this summer's transfer window.
