Chelsea are reportedly preparing to focus their attention on a summer deal for Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho as Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho is 'reluctant' to join the capital giants.
The Blues are believed to be admirers of Sancho, but Manchester United appear to be at the head of the queue for the England international ahead of this summer's transfer window.
According to Sport, Frank Lampard's side are now prioritising a deal for Coutinho, although 'there is still a long way to go' when it comes to a potential swoop for the Brazil international.
The former Liverpool player has largely struggled to show his best form for the Spanish champions since arriving in the summer of 2018.
Coutinho has been in relatively strong form during a loan spell at Bayern Munich this season, though, scoring nine times and contributing eight assists in 32 appearances in all competitions.
Bayern do have the option of signing the 27-year-old on a permanent deal this summer, but the clause is not expected to be activated due to the cost, which is allegedly in the region of £100m.
