Chelsea to enter race for Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez?

Chelsea are reportedly considering entering the race to sign Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez later in 2020.

Chelsea have reportedly added Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez to their list of potential targets ahead of the summer transfer window.

After being left frustrated in his search for a new striker in January, Frank Lampard is expected to bring in at least one fresh face for the final third before the beginning of next season.

While Lyon's Moussa Dembele and RB Leipzig's Timo Werner have been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge, Calciomercato claims that the Blues are contemplating a bid for Martinez.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed an excellent campaign with Inter, contributing 16 goals from 26 outings in Serie A and the Champions League.

Despite Inter wishing to keep hold of the Argentina international, a release clause, said to be in the region of £94m, means that the player could attract offers in the summer.

Barcelona and Manchester United have recently been credited with an interest.
