Manchester City are reportedly ready to rival Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
City have previously been linked with the Frenchman, although there have recently been suggestions that Pep Guardiola is prioritising the addition of Atletico Madrid's Rodri.
However, Football Insider says that City have reignited their interest in Ndombele at a time when Tottenham Hotspur are in the running for the 22-year-old.
The player would allegedly cost in the region of £70m, a figure which both Premier League clubs are seemingly prepared to meet during the summer window.
Ndombele - who is also said to have admirers at Manchester United - has acknowledged that he is open to joining a new club ahead of next season.
