Diogo Dalot reportedly wants another season on loan at AC Milan from Manchester United next season.

Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot has reportedly decided that he wants to stay at AC Milan for another season.

The Portugal international struggled to displace Aaron Wan-Bissaka as United's first-choice right-back in the 2019-20 season, but he enjoyed better fortunes during his stint with Milan last term.

Dalot featured 33 times for the Rossoneri in all competitions - claiming two goals and three assists - and his future remains a major talking point as he prepares to return to Old Trafford.

According to Tuttomercatoweb editor Marco Conterio, Dalot has now decided that he wants to remain at San Siro for the 2021-22 campaign, and Milan are also keen to keep him around for a little while longer.

Conterio adds that both parties are now waiting for United to respond to the proposal, but Dalot is currently away with Portugal's Euro 2020 squad after being called up as a replacement for the COVID-positive Joao Cancelo.

Dalot remains contracted to Man United until 2023, but he has only made 35 appearances for the club since arriving in 2018.
