Everton are reportedly keen to bring Juventus centre-back Merih Demiral to Goodison Park during this summer's transfer window.
The 23-year-old, who represented Turkey at Euro 2020, still has three years left to run on his contract with the Old Lady, but there is currently speculation surrounding his future.
Manchester United are said to be showing an interest in the centre-back, who only made 24 appearances for Juventus in all competitions during the 2020-21 campaign.
According to Calciomercato, Everton are also firmly in the mix for Demiral, although the Toffees could find it difficult to meet the Italian outfit's asking price.
The report claims that Juventus want a minimum of €40m (£34.3m) for the Turkey international, which could ultimately price Rafael Benitez's side out of a move in the current market.
Demiral is yet to join up with I Bianconeri for pre-season training, having been given time off to recover from this summer's European Championship.
