Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann is reportedly not considered to be a priority signing for Barcelona in this summer's transfer window, suggesting that Manchester United could have a free run at the attacker.
Griezmann recently revealed that he would be leaving Atletico this summer and Barca were considered to be the favourites for the 28-year-old.
However, United are said to have made contact with Griezmann last week to discuss a potential summer swoop for the France international.
According to Marca, Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu does not view the attacker as a priority even though his release clause will drop from £173m to £104m at the start of July.
Griezmann has netted 133 times in 257 appearances for Atletico in all competitions and also played a key role in France lifting the 2018 World Cup, finishing the competition with four goals and two assists.
Neither Real Madrid nor Manchester City are said to be interested in a summer deal for the attacker, meaning that United could still be in with a chance of securing his signature.
Barca could now switch their attentions to Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar, who is said to be keen on securing a return to Camp Nou ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
