Manchester United are reportedly willing to match Manchester City stride for stride in their pursuit of Benfica starlet Joao Felix.
The 19-year-old is wanted by a number of European football's biggest clubs after scoring 20 goals and registering 11 assists for the Portuguese champions in the 2018-19 campaign.
Atletico Madrid are believed to have made Felix their priority signing for the summer transfer window, with the Spanish side willing to trigger the youngster's £105m release clause should Antoine Griezmann leave for a similiar amount.
According to The Sun, Man City are also prepared to break the £100m barrier to land the Portugal Under-21s international, regardless of Leroy Sane's uncertain future at the Etihad Stadium.
The same report indicates that United are ready to rival their neighbours by matching their bid, leaving the decision down to the player as to which club he wants to join.
Speaking earlier this week, however, Felix hinted that he is in no rush to leave the Estadio da Luz this summer.
