Inter Milan are reportedly not confident about reaching an agreement with Manchester United for the transfer of Romelu Lukaku in this summer's transfer window.
The Italian giants have been strongly linked with a swoop for the Belgium international, who only managed 15 goals for the Red Devils during a disappointing 2018-19 campaign.
However, it is understood that United have thus far rejected a number of player-plus-cash offers for the centre-forward, in addition to a two-year loan bid with an obligation to buy.
According to Sky in Italy, the fact that the 20-time English champions are refusing to budge from their £76.5m valuation means that Inter are sceptical of completing a deal for the 26-year-old.
Lukaku joined United from Everton in the summer of 2017 and struck 27 goals in 51 appearances during a successful first season at Old Trafford.
However, the Belgian - currently with the United squad on their pre-season tour of Australia - struggled to reach those heights last term.
