Memphis Depay has reportedly flown to England to hold secret negotiations with Liverpool about a possible summer move.
The PSV Eindhoven star was hotly tipped to join Manchester United, and the Eredivisie club also revealed that the Red Devils have made an enquiry regarding the Dutch international's availability.
However, The Mirror claims that Depay flew into Manchester Airport on Thursday with his advisors to meet with officials from Anfield instead.
It is thought that the 20-year-old was impressed by Liverpool's determination to secure his signature and the vision they mapped out.
Ex-Reds winger Dirk Kuyt is also said to have played a key part in swaying Depay, by convincing the youngster that Liverpool was the right destination for him.
