Manchester United are reportedly considering moving for Barcelona duo Ronald Araujo and Frenkie de Jong during this summer's transfer window.
The Red Devils spent much of Erik ten Hag's first transfer market as head coach pursuing De Jong but were ultimately unsuccessful in their attempts to sign him.
The Netherlands international recently revealed that Man United tried and failed to bring him to Old Trafford last summer, and he again reiterated a desire to remain at Camp Nou.
However, Barcelona will be under pressure to make some major sales this summer due to their financial problems, especially if they are to be successful in re-signing Lionel Messi.
As a result, De Jong's future is again being called into question, and according to Mundo Deportivo, Ten Hag's side remain interested in bringing him to Manchester in the upcoming market.

The 26-year-old has been a vital player for Xavi's side during the 2022-23 campaign, featuring on 41 occasions in all competitions, contributing two goals and four assists in the process.
De Jong also has another three years left to run on his contract, and it is understood that he will again make it clear that he wants to stay if Barcelona attempt to navigate an exit.
The report also claims that Araujo's situation is being carefully monitored by Man United.
The 24-year-old signed a new contract with Barcelona last April, with his current terms due to run until the summer of 2026, but the Catalan outfit have not yet been able to register the deal due to their financial issues.

Although unlikely, there is a scenario where Araujo could potentially become available on a free transfer this summer, with Man United allegedly believing that is a possibility.
The Uruguay international has had his injury problems this season but has still been a vital player for Xavi's side, making 31 appearances in all competitions, contributing one goal and two assists in the process.
Man United are expected to move for a new centre-back during this summer's transfer window, with club captain Harry Maguire likely to depart in search of regular action.
Phil Jones's departure has already been confirmed, while Axel Tuanzebe is also set to leave, which would open up space in the squad for another central defender to arrive.
Ten Hag's side need just a point in their final two Premier League games of the season against Chelsea and Fulham to be guaranteed a top-four position in the table and a return to the Champions League next term.
