Manchester United have reportedly not given up hope of signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer.
Rabiot has not made a first-team appearance for PSG since December, a consequence of the 24-year-old failing to agree a new contract at Parc des Princes.
However, there has been a suggestion that the appointment of a new sporting director - former AC Milan chief Leonardo - could result in the Frenchman making a U-turn regarding his future.
That may not be the case according to RMC Sport, which claims that Rabiot is still likely to take his opportunity to depart the Ligue 1 champions.
United are among a number of clubs who are prepared to offer the academy graduate a lucrative deal due to no transfer fee being required.
