Manchester United are reportedly ready to make an approach for Fenerbahce youngster Elif Elmas.
United are being linked with a wide range of players as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to reshape his squad, and the Norwegian is likely to place priority on defensive areas.
However, according to the Daily Mail, United are prepared to join the race to sign Macedonian midfielder Elmas.
The 19-year-old has already established himself as a first-team regular at Fenerbahce, with three goals coming from 35 outings in Turkey's top flight and the Europa League this season.
Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with a move for the playmaker, who still has just over three years remaining on his contract.
