Manchester United have reportedly submitted a £6.8m offer to Bologna for Marko Arnautovic.
The former Stoke City and West Ham United player scored 43 goals in his time in the Premier League before joining Shanghai Port in 2019.
Arnautovic returned to Europe last summer, signing for Serie A club Bologna where he finished the 2021-22 season with 15 goals in 34 appearances.
The striker's performances appeared to have caught the attention of United, who have reportedly made a move to bring the 33-year-old to Old Trafford.
According to The Athletic, the Red Devils have made Bologna an offer of €8 million (£6.8m), with Ten Hag keen to link up with a player that he worked with at Twente when he was assistant manager to Steve McClaren.
The United boss is keen to strengthen his forward line before the transfer window closes, and Arnautovic would supply an alternative option to current central strikers Cristiano Ronaldo and Anthony Martial.
