Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their interest in Issa Diop by tabling a player-plus-cash offer for the West Ham United defender.
The 22-year recently emerged as a rumoured target for the Red Devils as he is seen as a cheaper alternative to first-choice target Harry Maguire.
France Football claims that United have propositioned a £45m bid plus the choice of either Matteo Darmian or Marcos Rojo in exchange for Diop.
West Ham are said to value the France Under-21s international at £75m, but they could be talked into selling for around £58m.
Diop joined the Irons from Toulouse in a then-club-record deal of £22m last year and made 38 appearances in all competitions in his debut campaign.
