Manchester United have reportedly managed to submit a deal sheet for Bayern Munich's Marcel Sabitzer before Tuesday's 11pm transfer deadline.
The Red Devils are understood to have agreed a loan deal for the Austrian midfielder following the news that Christian Eriksen will miss at least three months with an ankle injury.
Sabitzer - who was also the subject of late interest from Chelsea - flew to Manchester earlier on deadline day to complete his loan switch, which will not include an option or obligation to buy.
Top-flight clubs in England had until 11pm on deadline day to submit a deal sheet to the Premier League, and Telegraph journalist James Ducker states that Man United managed to file theirs in time.
As a result, Erik ten Hag's men now have until midnight to complete the formalities of the deal, and all parties are confident that Sabitzer will be a Man United player by the end of the evening.
The 28-year-old has only registered two goals and two assists in 54 matches for Bayern since joining from RB Leipzig in 2021, including one goal and one assist from 24 games this season.
