Manchester United and Real Madrid will face off over the signature of Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus in January, according to reports.
The 26-year-old, who signed a new contract at the Westfalenstadion just nine months ago, is expected to be a target for a number of clubs in the coming months.
According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Man Utd intend to do business with the Bundesliga club when the transfer window reopens, but believe that Madrid are currently better placed to sign the Germany international.
Reus signed for the North Rhine-Westphalia club in 2012.
