Manchester United are reportedly planning to launch a bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal.
The Red Devils have been linked to the Chile international numerous times before, and it was thought that they were contenders before he joined Bayern from Juventus in 2015.
According to La Cuarta, United intend to table an offer for Vidal in the region of £52.4m, as well as give him a salary worth £15.7m per year.
The report adds, though, that Chelsea are also keeping tabs on the midfielder, who has started 26 games for Bayern in all competitions this season, including 17 in the Bundesliga.
The Blues could potentially have an advantage in the race for Vidal since the Chilean worked with manager Antonio Conte at Juventus.
