Manchester United are reportedly prepared to allow Dean Henderson to remain at Sheffield United for the rest of the Premier League season.
The 23-year-old has been one of the standout performers for Chris Wilder's side this term and there has been talk of Henderson potentially challenging David de Gea for the number one spot at Old Trafford.
Indeed, Henderson has kept 10 clean sheets in 27 Premier League outings for Sheffield United this term, but should the league resume as planned in June, the season will likely carry on through the summer amid the coronavirus pandemic.
According to The Telegraph, the Red Devils are willing to let Wilder's side keep hold of their number one, with Henderson's current loan deal set to expire next month.
The Blades sit two points behind fifth-placed United as things stand, but the report claims that their battle for European football will not affect Sheffield's desire to finish the season with the Englishman in between the sticks.
Henderson has turned out 76 times for the Blades since arriving at Bramall Lane on a two-year loan spell in 2018.
