Report: Borussia Dortmund want Shinji Kagawa back on loan

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in signing Shinji Kagawa on loan from Manchester United in the summer.

Borussia Dortmund are interested in re-signing Shinji Kagawa from Manchester United in the summer, according to a report.

The Sun claims that the German club are interested in recruiting the 25-year-old midfielder on a loan deal for next season.

The Japan international left Dortmund for United in 2012 and, despite being part of the Red Devils' Premier League-winning team that campaign, has struggled to feature regularly for the Manchester outfit.

Kagawa, whose current contract with United runs until June 2016, made 20 league appearances last season and has made nine starts in the Premier League so far in 2013-14.
