Villarreal are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo this summer.
The Argentine international, who can play at either centre-back or left-back, joined Man United from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2014 and has made 53 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions.
It has been claimed that Jose Mourinho will look to sell the 26-year-old this summer due to the emergence of a number of young defenders, and according to Marca, Villarreal have launched an enquiry.
Rojo, who is contracted to the 20-time English champions until the summer of 2019, has been given an extended holiday after representing Argentina in the 2016 Copa America.
Villarreal and Man United have already been engaged in transfer business this summer, with Ivorian defender Eric Bailly swapping the Yellow Submarine for Old Trafford.
