Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund are reportedly leading the race to sign Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
The England international has struggled to take the number one jersey away from David de Gea this season, since returning from a successful spell on loan at Sheffield United.
Sky Sports News reports that Spurs are monitoring Henderson's situation as they see the 23-year-old as a potential replacement for club captain Hugo Lloris, who is entering the final year of his contract this summer.
They also state that Dortmund are keeping an eye on the United stopper, who is understood to be open to the prospect of playing abroad.
Henderson recently signed a five-year contract in August, earning around £120,000 a week, which could prove to be a sticking point when negotiating with Spurs.
As things stand, Henderson – who is a boyhood United fan – would prefer to remain at Old Trafford and fight for his place, but if his chances of being number one become limited, then he will look elsewhere.
Henderson has featured only 12 times for United in all competitions so far this campaign, 16 times fewer than De Gea.
