Chelsea have reportedly submitted a deal sheet to the Premier League in order to complete the loan-to-buy signing of Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.
The Blues are understood to have struck a deal to sign the 24-year-old on loan for the 2024-25 season, which will become permanent for a reported £25m at the end of the campaign.
Sancho has already given the green light to Chelsea's contract offer, but his move was not made official before the 11pm transfer deadline, meaning that the Blues would need to submit a deal sheet in order to get a transfer over the line.
The Premier League revealed on their X account that a total of nine deal sheets were submitted before the cut-off point, and according to Sky Sports News, Sancho is included on that list.
As a result, Chelsea have until 1am to complete the formalities of Sancho's switch, including the winger's medical, as he prepares to end his ill-fated three-year spell in a Man United jersey.
The former Manchester City protege has registered just 12 goals and six assists in 83 matches for the 20-time English champions and memorably saw his relationship with Erik ten Hag deteriorate last September.
Sancho and his manager eventually made up, but the former has not made a Premier League appearance for the Red Devils this season, being left out of matchday squads against Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion.
