Manchester United will reportedly splash £50m on the Borussia Dortmund duo of Ilkay Gundogan and Mats Hummels this summer.
The Red Devils have been repeatedly linked with a move for Hummels in recent weeks, with speculation that the German international defender was ready to leave the Bundesliga giants.
According to the Daily Mail, United boss Louis van Gaal will use part of a £150m transfer war chest to lure Hummels and Gundogan to Old Trafford at the end of the season.
It is thought that Gundogan was edging towards a new contract at the Westfalenstadion, but it appears that the midfielder is ready to turn his back on Die Borussien.
United are also believed to be offering £35m to Dortmund to try to seal a move for Hummels.
