Manchester United have reportedly turned down Arsenal's request to include Anthony Martial in a deal for Alexis Sanchez.
In a surprise turn of events, the Chile international, who is out of contract in the summer, is believed to be nearing a move to Old Trafford after initial reports linked him with Manchester City.
Numerous publications have claimed that a fee of around £30m-£35m could be offered, along with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who was left out of the matchday squad to play Stoke City this evening.
According to RMC Sport, Arsenal indicated that they wanted Martial in the deal, but Mourinho is adamant that the Frenchman will not be going anywhere.
The forward was in and out of the team last season, but he has been used more frequently in the current term having started 18 games in all competitions.
Martial has scored nine goals so far this season.
