RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano has revealed that he has held talks with clubs concerning a potential move during this summer's transfer window.
The 21-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2019-20 campaign at club level and is believed to be a transfer target for Manchester United in the current market.
Leipzig would allegedly be forced to sell the defender next summer for €42m (£37m), meaning that the German side could agree to a sale in the coming weeks in order to receive a higher fee.
Upamecano - also previously linked with Arsenal - has suggested that he is in no rush to move clubs but has revealed that he 'speaks with' potential suitors.
"I extended in Leipzig, because I feel good with my teammates and my coach. I'm good at Leipzig. It's true that I'm in great demand. I speak with clubs, but I'm in no rush and we'll see what happens in the future," Upamecano told reporters.
United are thought to be in the market for a new central defender due to the uncertainty surrounding the futures of Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones.
