Barcelona frontman David Villa is reportedly considering a move to the Premier League following Pep Guardiola's snub in La Liga's first El Clasico of the season.
The 30-year-old missed out on a spot in the Catalans' starting lineup against Real Madrid on Saturday, and has been taken out of position in order to allow more freedom for star striker Lionel Messi.
It is understood that the ex-Valencia forward has alerted his advisors to search for an English club to move to at the end of the season, according to The Express.
While Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are all believed to be options for the frontman, Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina could convince Villa to make the switch to Anfield due to their off-field friendship.
Villa moved to the Nou Camp from Valencia last summer for a fee in the region of £40m.
