Millwall have reportedly made an offer of around £250,000 for Reading striker Simon Church.
Lions boss Kenny Jackett is desperate to find a quick replacement for loan sensation Chris Wood, who completed a move to Leicester City this week.
Church is deemed surplus to requirements at the Madejski Stadium and went out on loan to Huddersfield Town earlier this season.
Jackett has sounded out Church and Bristol City forward Steven Davies as transfer targets, according to the Daily Mail.
