MK Dons have confirmed that midfielder Ben Reeves has signed a contract extension until summer 2017.
The 23-year-old's previous deal with the Championship club was due to expire at the end of the season.
Reeves has scored 18 goals in 73 games for the Dons since joining them from Southampton in 2013.
"It's something we've been working on for a while but we know his agent very well," manager Karl Robinson told the club's official website.
"He told us not to worry because we'd get it done and we finally got it over the line on Tuesday morning. The quality he possesses is there for all to see and it gives us tremendous piece of mind that he's signed this new deal."
MK Dons booked their place in the second round of the League Cup last night thanks to a dramatic 2-1 win over Leyton Orient.
