Motherwell's Europa League campaign got off to a shaky start at Fir Park after they conceded two penalties in a 2-2 home draw this evening.
The Scottish side were two goals in front after only 19 minutes courtesy of Josh Law, who was handed a tap-in before dispatching a far more difficult chip over the Stjarnan keeper.
The Icelanders kept pressing, however, and were rewarded with two penalties, both of which were converted by Olafur Karl Finsen.
Motherwell now travel to Iceland next Thursday knowing they need to overcome two away goals to progress in the competition.
