Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has said that he expects "single-minded goalscoring" from new signing Papiss Cisse.
The Senegalese striker, who recently joined from SC Freiburg, could be in line to make his Magpies debut in Sunday's clash with Aston Villa.
The 26-year-old has returned to England following his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations.
When asked to identify Cisse's main attributes, Pardew said: "Single-minded goalscoring.
"I don't think he is going to hesitate to shoot, so whether he starts or whether he comes off the bench on Sunday, you are going to see a directness from him."
Newcastle are currently fifth in the Premier League table.
