Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew praises the attitude of his team after the 2-2 draw against Everton at Goodison Park.

Alan Pardew has expressed his pride at the second-half performance from his Newcastle United side in the draw against Everton on Monday evening.

The Magpies twice went behind at Goodison Park but a brace from Demba Ba ensured that Pardew's men earned a point from their trip to Merseyside.

"I was proud of the second half because we were terrific, but the first half we lacked belief and I was shocked at how we played," Pardew told Sky Sports News. "Not many teams would come back and respond in the way we did so all credit to the players.

"Demba definitely changed the face of the game and gave us the mentality that we could win the game, and in the second half we gave a good account of ourselves."
