Good evening and welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage of tonight's Premier League encounter between Everton and Newcastle United at Goodison Park.
The Toffees – notoriously slow starters – have gained six points from a possible nine this season to occupy ninth spot in the Premier League table. Meanwhile, Newcastle have won one, drawn one and lost one of their opening three games of the new campaign to sit in 13th.
Everton will enter the match full of confidence having beaten the Magpies 3-1 the last time the two sets met at the end of last season. Meanwhile, they have lost just one of their last 11 league games.
David Moyes's side, who are on a five-match unbeaten run, could move into the top three with victory this evening, but they face a Newcastle side looking for their 1000th goal in the Premier League.

They recorded an opening day victory against Tottenham Hotspur, before losing to Chelsea and drawing 1-1 with Aston Villa in their last league encounter. They have also struggled for goals this season with Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse yet to hit the back of the net.
