Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse is on the verge of rejecting a move to China, according to reports.
Cisse has been linked with a move away from Tyneside this season, and a move to Sven-Goran Eriksson's Shanghai SIPG has been rumoured.
The Daily Star has claimed that the 29-year-old will reject a three-year deal worth £23m, which would equal to £150,000 a week, to stay in England.
The same source reports that the Senegalese international is having second thoughts about leaving Newcastle, and is thinking of opening his own restaurant in the area.
Cisse has scored nine goals so far this season and is the Magpies' top marksman.
