Adelene Guedioura has thanked Nottingham Forest fans for their support and said that it helped him decide to complete a permanent move to City Ground.
Guedioura signed a three-year contract at Forest on Monday after a successful loan spell with the club last season.
The Algerian international now wants to repay Forest fans with success this season.
He told the club's official website: "I was on holiday and looking on Twitter and I saw that they had asked me to come so I answered the call.
"I was really pleased when I had this call from the fans so I have to say thank you to them. Hopefully we can win promotion for them."
Guedioura is Forest manager Sean O'Driscoll's first signing as the club begins life under the ownership of the Al-Hasawi family.
