Leicester City are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich youngster Mathys Tel in January.
The 19-year-old has already been linked to the Premier League this season, with the Foxes' East Midlands neighbours Nottingham Forest also said to be keen on the player.
Tel is currently struggling for gametime in the Bundesliga for Vincent Kompany's side this season, playing a total of 112 minutes across four league appearances.
The former Manchester United target has fallen behind the likes of Kingsley Coman, Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry in the pecking order at the Allianz Arena.
Tel was an unused substitute on Saturday afternoon, when Harry Kane and company extended their lead at the summit of the Bundesliga standings with a 1-0 win at newly-promoted St Pauli.

Leicester, Forest eyeing Bayern star Tel ahead of January window?
According to CaughtOffside, a quartet of Premier League clubs are considering swoops for the services of Bayern Munich man Tel in the New Year.
The report claims that East Midlands duo Leicester and Nottingham Forest are keen on bringing the youngster to the King Power Stadium and the City Ground respectively.
There is also understood to be fondness of Tel in the English capital, with Crystal Palace and Fulham also interested in sealing the signature of Tel.
On the fringes of Kompany's first-team thinking in Bavaria, the 19-year-old is set for a loan move away from the club during the January window.
It is believed that Tel remains a serious part of the long-term plans in Munich, meaning that the Bundesliga side will only consider temporary offers for the winger in January.

Who needs Tel the most?
Taking a glance at the Premier League table and attacking statistics, it is hard to argue against Crystal Palace requiring forward reinforcements in the New Year.
The sale of Michael Olise to Bayern Munich over the summer has significantly weakened the Eagles, who have scored just eight times across their opening 11 top-flight fixtures.
Off-season arrival Daichi Kamada is struggling to find his feet in England, failing to provide a goal contribution in 11 matches so far.
Tel would offer a different option on the right flank for head coach Oliver Glasner, who was tipped to guide Palace towards European contention this term following a sensational end to the 2023-24 campaign.
