Miguel Veloso: 'Cristiano Ronaldo is fine'

Portugal midfielder Miguel Veloso believes that Cristiano Ronaldo is fully fit ahead of their meeting with the USA on Sunday.

Portugal midfielder Miguel Veloso believes that Cristiano Ronaldo is fully fit ahead of their meeting with the USA on Sunday.

Earlier this week, reports claimed that Ronaldo had been ruled out of the remainder of the World Cup, but Veloso has revealed that his teammate has no injury concerns.

"I'm not a doctor but from what I see, Ronaldo is fine," BBC Sport quotes Veloso as saying.

"He is training, he is jumping and he is shooting. There is not much else to say."

Veloso has scored twice in his 50 appearances for the Portugal national side.
