David Beckham plays down Paris Saint-Germain move

A spokesman for David Beckham plays down claims that the midfielder is close to a move to PSG.

A spokesman for David Beckham has played down reports in the French media that the former England captain is close to signing for Paris Saint-Germain.

France Football had claimed that the midfielder has been in the city over the weekend.

"No deal has been done with any football club yet and David is not in Paris," said the spokesman.

The 36-year-old is a free agent after his contract with MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy recently expired.
